Typically, you attract potential leads via a lead magnet (think free eBooks, mini-courses, or downloadable videos). This magnet is intended to provide value in exchange for their contact details. Once they opt in, they’re a ‘lead’ or an ‘interested prospect’.

Here’s are the proven ways to get interested LEADS through the door:

1. Posting Free Value Content

The first way to attract more leads is by regularly sharing value content. This can be in the form of blogs, YouTube videos, or social media posts. But remember, it shouldn’t be just any content. It must be valuable and assist your prospects in achieving a particular outcome.

It’s crucial to address the queries and concerns your ideal prospects might have. Platforms like Google, Quora, Reddit, and Facebook groups are treasure troves for sourcing these questions. Address these in your content, and you’re essentially creating content that converts. 

For instance, if I’m blogging about budget travel tips every week, at the end of my blog, I’d provide a link to a free PDF guide on the same topic. And while this method is super effective, it requires consistent effort and patience.

2. Running Ads

The second method is quite straightforward – advertisements. Platforms like Facebook and Google can boost traffic to your landing page or website significantly. However, while this method can be super effective, it can be costly. Hence, it might not be the best fit for everyone, especially if you’re just starting out.

3. Direct Outreach – The Game Changer

Finally, the approach I swear by, regardless of your business stage is direct outreach. Unlike the first method, it doesn’t require consistent content creation, and unlike the second, it doesn’t demand a significant investment.

It involves reaching out directly to your prospects, highlighting their pain points, and offering them a solution. Platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook are perfect for this. On LinkedIn, for instance, connect with potential leads, send them a tailored message addressing their needs, and voila! Once they show interest, they are officially a lead.
